En Prise
You can’t force it
she said.
It was then I realized
I kept making decisions
without thinking
what might happen
to my beautiful Queen.
Lost and searching
for something magical
to capture my eye
I slowly realized
my quest for patience
was nothing more
than an elusive wish.

This is really quite haunting and lovely.
thank you so much and thanks for visiting again 🙂
Your poems are filled with so much longing..It is perhaps why they appeal so much to me. I feel that you can almost feel what I feel..But you say it with such perfection. You have the gift for conveying emotions in the most natural but unusual way…
