how do you move on

a child slips away
for just a moment
crawling between a railing
so many stories high
falling in slow motion
your hands reaching out
unable to grasp
the law of diminishing reality

  1. Oh, this one is heartbreaking, but beautifully written…sorry I haven’t been around for awhile, but am trying to catch up on your blog a little. I love your writing and appreciate all of your visits in my world, too!

  2. A lot has been said in such a small amount of space.
