I almost died a few times
and each time
I came back with a flurry
swinging my arms and
bobbing and weaving
like a boxer skylarking
inside the ropes
whatever doesn’t kill you
makes you stronger
isn’t always the case
but when it is this grandiose
notion sets in
that nothing can defeat you
