see me fall

never in a million years
was I supposed to survive the fall
plummeting from twenty thousand feet
arms like wings and widespread
gradually gaining control
slowly descending in sweeping circles
miraculously transforming
right before your very eyes

  1. Intriguing … this could be a metaphor for so many things … falling in love, personal transformation, taking a leap of faith … survival. Anything that takes courage. Well done.
