american apathy
i heard it through the grapevine
was playing on the radio
when they interrupted to announce
the president had been shot
it was the marvin gaye version
the one released a year after
gladys knight & the pips put it out
back in nineteen sixty-seven
i tried calling the radio station
to ask how necessary it was
to cut into such a classic song
but i just couldn’t get through
october two thousand twelve

Great one, funny and still sad 🙂
That seems to sum it up pretty good, thanks, Björn.
Great to stop by here. I see you’ve made a few changes and added some new work to the site. Looks wonderful and I’ll be sure to check out your eCollection!
