the guardian

you entered the ward
with a smile in your eye
quietly knelt beside me
and whispered of a world
where the dazzling white light
promises to free me
from the pain inside

  1. sad..and nicely done…

  2. Very powerful. Resonates with a profound truth for anyone who has experienced serious illness, pain or loss.

  3. Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while today. I had a great time and tried to leave my campsite as good as when I arrived. I’ll be back!
