dear scorpio

don’t read too much into things
you certainly know better
but sometimes it’s thrilling
to open your mind to dangers
as long as it doesn’t kill you

when you leave something behind
like a hash pipe or razor blade
don’t go back looking for it
there may be an ambush
awaiting you

remember the laws of nature
always prevail over the rule of law
so follow your instincts
instead of stupidities
& let the wind take you where it will

quick reality check

welcome to my new reality
facts succumbing to feelings
new leo moon spotlighting
authority figures weighing in

apples hanging lower than low
yet unrealistically out of reach
whether stretching or jumping
or wishing upon my favorite star

I’ve been shot down many times
to my dismay I’m still standing
currently resting inside 10th house
refusing to give up my seat

keeping the peace

she was an unlucky kind of girl
and though she wasn’t sure
what that meant
she loved to say it nonetheless

born scorpio with pisces rising
she always wondered
why there wasn’t a thirteenth house
one in which she could run and
hide from a world spinning inwards

safely tucked inside her
mysteriously secretive mind
she only assumes a
peacekeeping role after
extinguishing all other options
